I am so grateful for this group and everything that you are doing. It is really pushing us out of our comfort zones and helping us to do things we would have never even thought about doing. I am so surprised by my daughter's capabilities! I can only hope that other kids can join us and also become encouraged.

This group has been such a blessing to our lives. I originally started searching for homeschooling groups in order for my son to have some socialization, but to my surprise I found SO much more. This group has allowed him to actually ENJOY school. After our first day at the enrichment center, he couldn't stop talking about how much he wanted to go back. He's made so many new friends already, and is actually excited about learning. But it isn't just him! I didn't realize how much I needed to socialize as well until I'm sitting outside his classroom and talking and laughing with the other moms and really feeling like part of a group for the first time in forever. It has been such an amazing experience for both of us. I don't know why it took me so long. Wish I had done it sooner!

We are new to El Paso and immediately felt a sense of community within the group. They offer diverse classes and activities for all ages, including faith-based classes which is really important to us. We adore the staff members and the teachers and look forward to an exciting year in the homeschool clubhouse!

Moving to El Paso was hard; it meant leaving behind our co-op friends and our homeschool routine. It was hard figuring it out for my kids. We found ourselves feeling sad and having zero socialization. Thankfully, I came across It Takes A Village group and decided to join the fun. From the very beginning when I met Denise, I knew that I had hit the jackpot. She goes above and beyond and has this amazing gift of convincing people into stepping out of their comfort zone. She does it all for the kids!!!
It Takes A Village changed things for us in so many ways. Socialization being one of them. My kids were so happy all the time after joining the group. They looked forward to all the fun meet-ups and classes. It also changed the way I was homeschooling my kids. I went from being the super strict and very traditional homeschool mom to more of a relaxed homeschool school mom!

As a single mom and a business owner, finding the right fit for my son for homeschooling has been my highest but most difficult priority. I started the Tweens and Teen Homeschoolers of El Paso Facebook page to try to connect with like-minded families. I did my best to get Joah enough social time and variety, but always felt like I was failing until I found It Takes A Village! I loved meeting Denise and hearing her heart and plans to give our kids all of the options we want them to have. And we have loved being involved even more! Joah is always excited for each class and looks forward to seeing his friends. Last week when he was sick and missed classes and multiple families reached out to check on him, I realized just how much we've found our Village, and how blessed we are! Don't hesitate to join this amazing group and these incredible classes!

It Takes a Village is the BEST thing to happen to our homeschool life! Seriously, the best! Before, we didn't have any outside activities to do with friends and now our weeks are full of friendship and fun! We love the PE classes, where the boys get to exercise twice a week and learn a new sport each month. We also enjoy Chess/Boardgame club where they get to play and laugh with all their friends. Rock Band has also been a great experience, they are learning how to play an instrument and learn cool songs! Our founder Denise is amazing, she truly cares so much about the kids and is always looking for ways to enrich their learning. She wants every family to experience the joy of homeschooling and we are blessed to be a part of this Co-op!
