Competition Robotics & Coding
Competition Robotics & Coding
TEACHERS ARE PAID IN ADVANCE. No credits or refunds.
This first month includes $80 monthly fee (which includes all 3 weekly sessions) and a $60 registration fee for the robot.
LEVELS OF COMMITMENT:
1) Team Members
Team Members are the core group of 15 students who commit to the entire competition season (September to April). They attend all scheduled sessions, including coding classes, lab sessions, and team meetings. Team Members actively participate in building, programming, and strategizing for competitions. As part of the core team, they have the opportunity to represent our group in competitions and receive dedicated mentorship from the Montwood Robotics Team.
2) Alternates
Alternates are students who join classes for skill-building and fun without committing to the full season. While they can travel with the team to observe competitions, Alternates are not part of the main competition team and don’t participate in official competitions. This role offers flexibility for students interested in exploring robotics without the full-time commitment, with spots limited to 10 students.
