Shakespeare in Context: A Collaborative Literature & Media Project

Wednesdays | 9:00–10:00 AM (Reading) & 12:00–1:00 PM (Creative Project)

Step into the world of Shakespeare with a fresh, modern twist! In this two-part weekly enrichment experience, students will begin the day by reading and analyzing Romeo & Juliet from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Together, we’ll explore the characters, plot, language, and themes—bringing new relevance to this timeless tragedy.

Then, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, students will team up to create a collaborative video project that reimagines scenes from the play using modern language and storytelling styles. Think TikTok-inspired performances, creative adaptations, and a whole lot of laughter—while still deepening literary understanding.
