COW EYEBALL DISSECTION
COW EYEBALL DISSECTION
Supplies are purchased in advance. No refunds or credits.
Elementary students will need parental supervision and assistance.
Join us in December for an incredible Cow Eyeball Dissection! In this unique class, students will work in pairs to dissect a cow eyeball, the animal eye most similar to our own. This experience will bring all the learning from November’s classes to life, as students explore each part of the eye up close. Teens and elementary students will work together, with teens guiding the dissection and teaching their younger peers as they go.
This teaching role is a key part of the experience. When teens explain concepts to younger students, they solidify their own understanding, develop leadership skills, and learn how to communicate scientific ideas clearly—skills that are invaluable for learning and growth. Each student is $40 (with a $5 sibling discount, so the second child is $35), all supplies included, and the class will be held at 12:30 PM on December 4th and December 11th (please choose one of the days). To participate in the dissection, students must attend at least two science classes in November. Don’t miss this chance to be both a learner and a teacher in this unforgettable hands-on experience!
