Join Our Homeschool Rock Band Program!

We're excited to announce the launch of our homeschool rock band program, hosted by It Takes A Village: El Paso and taught by Sound Stage 9. Sign-ups for our fall semester are now open! The course will span from August 19th to December 14th, culminating in a festive Christmas concert on December 14th where students will showcase their musical skills.

EAST LOCATION

Mondays 2pm or Thursdays 2pm (please choose a time)

WEST LOCATION

Wednesdays at 2pm

BAND COMPOSITION: 

• Each band will include:
  • 4 drummers
  • 4-6 guitar players
  • 2 bass players
  • 4-6 piano & vocalists

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

• First Month:

  • Learn music fundamentals

• Second and Third Month:

  • Begin learning repertoire for the Christmas concert
  • Continue practicing music fundamentals

• Fourth Month:

  • Group rehearsals to prepare for the concert

Music Fundamentals Include:

• Reading sheet music
• Learning rhythm notes
• Scales

Note for Guitar Players:

• Guitar players primarily learn with tabs, but parents may opt for their guitarists to learn sheet music as well
