Sewing Class: Make Your Own Santa Skirt!

Get ready for the holiday season by sewing a fun and festive Santa skirt in this hands-on sewing class! Perfect for beginners and intermediate sewists alike, this class will allow students to create a santa skirt in sizes 12 months up to 14 years. Make for themselves or someone else! You'll learn basic sewing techniques while creating a personalized skirt that’s sure to spread holiday cheer.

Class Details:

• Dates: Wednesdays 1:30-2:30, November 20th - December 17th
• Location: 1301 N Oregon
• Age Range: Younger students will need parent assistance. Skirt sizes is 12 months to 14 years
• Cost: $75, includes the cost of red fabric, black fabric, yellow fabric, and elastic needed for the pattern. 

What’s Included:

• All fabric and elastic will be provided
• Fabric will be pre-cut and ready to sew on Day 1
• 3 sewing machines are available for rent at $25 per machine (threaded and ready to use)
• Learn to wind a bobbin and thread a sewing machine during the class
• Step-by-step guidance from an experienced instructor

Important Information:

• Bring your own sewing machine, if you prefer! Please ensure your machine is 2015 or newer for ease of threading.
• Machine rentals: We have 3 machines available for rent at $25 each. These machines will be threaded and ready for you, but students will learn to wind a bobbin and thread the machine themselves.
• Machine Requirements: If you bring your own machine, it must be threaded with red thread before class. The teacher will not be able to thread older machines, and assistance with machine issues or repairs will not be available during the class.
• Skill Level: No prior experience required—this class is beginner-friendly!
