Teen Anatomy: The Urinary System
Wednesday, February 19th, at 10 AM
Offered through ITAV EmpowerEd, this class explores the urinary system—how our bodies filter waste, balance fluids, and keep us healthy. Students will dive into anatomy and function, learning through engaging discussions and activities.
At ITAV EmpowerEd, we believe in providing alternative learning environments for homeschoolers. While special education in public schools may work for some, it is not the model we wish to reproduce. We believe all students can learn and thrive in a group setting with minor interventions. For complex subjects where the goal is the educational experience, we offer smaller, quieter classes to ensure the best learning environment possible.
This Teen Anatomy class maintains the same expectations and content as our larger group classes—it is not simplified or altered. The only intervention offered is a quieter setting with fewer students. We do not separate students by age or grade; instead, we group based on need and skill, ensuring they can socialize and learn with their intellectual and social peers.
Join us for an in-depth look at the urinary system in a structured and engaging environment!
