TEEN Anatomy Week Two: Sense Organs
TEEN Anatomy Week Two: Sense Organs
SUPPLIES ARE PAID FOR IN ADVANCE. No refunds or credits.
PLEASE BRING A JOURNAL EVERY WEEK.
A minimum of 2 out of the 3 November Science classes must be attended by your student in order to prepare them to participate in the eyeball dissection in December.
In Week Two, teens will dive into the fascinating world of sense organs, learning how each one—from eyes and ears to taste buds and skin—works and why it’s essential for interpreting our surroundings. Through experiments, students will explore the science behind sight, sound, taste, touch, and smell, discovering how these senses connect to the brain and keep us safe and aware. This engaging class will lay the foundation for our exciting eyeball dissection in December, giving students a unique look at the mechanics of vision and sensory processing.
